The freaking mayor of the town hijacked the absentee ballot box and moved it into his office. He says it wasn't 'safe' out there in front of City Hall and a whole bunch of CCTV cameras.
His story has changed several times after getting called out. Like they say....film at 11.

‼️FINANCIAL HELP ALERT‼️
A Wisconsin Republican politician is trying to destroy local newspaper that published an article on his disgusting behavior, that being calling a young child a homophobic slur. You can check out the details in the video. Bitch is trying to shut the journalists up by dragging out his nonsense lawsuit and drowning the publication in legal fees. Please, watch the video on the matter and donate to the GoFundMe for Wausau Pilot and Review (if you can). Support the good work and much needed coverage of local news by spreading this information

A Wisconsin Mayor Took Issue With a Ballot Drop Box Decision, So He Took the Drop Box - The New York Times
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/09/25/us/politics/wisconsin-mayor-ballot-box.html
Doug Diny, the Republican mayor of Wausau, Wis., was working on Sunday when he saw a ballot drop box outside City Hall, where it had been placed under orders of the city clerk.
Mr. Diny thought the City Council should have been consulted — something the Wisconsin Supreme Court did not require in its July ruling granting the city clerk authority — and did not believe the box would be secure. So he walked outside, removed the box and carted it into his office.
His actions, which he documented with photos and which The Wausau Pilot & Review reported on Tuesday, are the latest example of a pattern that began around the 2020 election in response to Donald J. Trump’s baseless claims about voter fraud. In states from Michigan to Colorado, some Republican officials have scrutinized or interfered with election equipment, seeking evidence of fraud.
